Studio Rate – $70 / hr
Studio rate includes recording, mixing, mastering, songwriting, production, etc.
Studio pricing can be difficult to estimate upfront, as every project is different. The total time — and therefore cost — depends on several key factors, including:
Preparation & Rehearsal – Well-rehearsed material records faster and more efficiently. The more prepared you are, the more we can focus on performance rather than problem-solving.
Arrangement & Song Structure – If your parts and structure are already worked out, sessions move quickly. If arrangements are still being developed, that’s absolutely fine — just allow extra time.
Number of Takes – Some parts are nailed in a few takes, while others may take longer to perfect. Finding the right performance is part of the creative process.
Number of Instruments & Overdubs – A simple setup with a few tracks takes less time than a production with multiple layers, harmonies, and textures. More layers generally mean more recording and mixing time.
Editing & Mixing Requirements – Projects that need extensive editing, tuning, or detailed mixing will require additional studio time.
Experience Level – Artists who are familiar with studio recording often work more efficiently, but we’re equally happy to guide first-time clients through the process.
